What this programme is for
The Associate Project Manager isn’t a junior role. You’re expected to manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, stakeholders and resources, often across complex, competing demands.
This programme develops all of that. It’s suitable for professionals working in project, programme or change environments across any sector, technology, construction, healthcare, financial services, the public sector or any organisation where structured project delivery drives strategic outcomes.
You may already be co-ordinating projects, supporting delivery or managing your own initiatives. This formalises that experience, closes the gaps and adds AI capability that is rapidly becoming the standard for high-performing project teams.

Project management is a practical discipline. Every session is built around real project scenarios, real tools and real decisions. From your first workshop, you’ll be working on actual project challenges in your organisation.
Monthly workshops: live, interactive sessions. Project frameworks, AI tools and industry case studies from across sectors.
1:1 coaching: your coach supports you through live project challenges. Not just the curriculum, the real work you’re navigating.
Workplace project assignments, real project documentation:plans, risk registers, stakeholder maps, status reports. Portfolio evidence from your actual projects.
AI-enhanced project management practice: AI-driven scheduling tools, Copilot, automated risk identification. Applied to your own projects.
Formal three-way progress reviews every 12 weeks
- Written feedback on all work returned within 10 working days
- AI tool guidance applied across the full project lifecycle
- Smart Assessor portfolio support against the KSBs
- Mock EPA, presentation coaching and targeted preparation
Project plans, risk registers, stakeholder analyses, status reports, assignments and OTJ logs, all in Smart Assessor. Your coach gives feedback in the platform. Your manager contributes observations and witness statements.
The EPA is run by an independent EPAO. It typically includes a work-based project report and presentation, and a professional discussion. Your project draws directly on real project work from the programme. At least one full mock with your coach before the assessment date.
