apprenticeship
What this programme is for
This isn’t a standard admin programme. It’s a foundation for a professional career, built on the Business Administrator standard but designed to go further.
You’ll develop the business knowledge, communication skills and organisational capability that every professional needs. And you’ll build leadership mindset and AI capability from the start, so you’re ready for where workplaces are heading, not where they’ve been.
It suits professionals at the start of their career, those returning after a break, and experienced administrators ready to invest in their own development. Whatever your starting point, the programme builds from there.

Every session connects to your role. Every AI tool you learn, you apply immediately. Learning that sits in a folder isn’t learning, it’s admin.
Monthly workshops: live, interactive sessions. AI tools, real business scenarios and collaborative activities in every session.
1:1 coaching: your coach supports your development as both a professional and a leader. They know your role and your context.
Workplace assignments, real tasks: communications, project support, stakeholder analysis. Evidence from your actual work.
AI practice: Copilot and LLM tools applied to real workplace tasks. Drafting, planning, decision support.
Formal three-way progress reviews every 12 weeks
- Written feedback on all work returned within 10 working days
- AI tool guidance and leadership development support
- Smart Assessor portfolio support against the KSBs
- Mock EPA and targeted preparation
All your work (assignments, OTJ logs, reflective accounts, project outputs) in Smart Assessor. Your coach feeds back in the platform. Your manager can see your progress.
The EPA is run by an independent EPAO. For Business Administration it typically includes a knowledge test, portfolio-based interview and a project presentation. Your coach prepares you with at least one full mock.
