Most women who join us didn’t study computer science. They worked in retail, in teaching, in hospitality, in admin, in the armed forces. They were good at solving problems, and they wanted work that went somewhere.
Nine weeks later, they were working as data analysts, cloud engineers and business analysts for some of the organisations we work with.

People arrive from all sorts of backgrounds, bringing skills, experience and perspectives from the careers they’ve already built. We’re working to grow representation across every cohort, and we particularly want to hear from women considering a career in tech. Our programmes are open to everyone, and always will be.

The gap we're looking to close
Women make up around 20% of IT professionals in the UK, and about 23% of computer science students.
The reasons are well documented and they start early. What matters here is the consequence: a large amount of talent never gets near the industry, because the industry never looks like somewhere it belongs.
We can’t fix that on our own. We can do something about who gets a route in.
How it works, and where it takes you
Nine weeks of intensive training, followed by a project with one of our clients. You’ll train Monday to Friday, mostly at our London Victoria office with some remote learning. You’ll specialise in an area that suits you: data and AI, DevOps and cloud, information security, change, development and test, or architecture.
From week 5 our project team starts putting you forward for roles. Most of our associates move into a projectt with a client, and many are hired permanently at the end of it.

What applying looks like
1. Apply online
A short form, around 15 minutes. Tell us about you and why this interests you.
2. Technical assessment
An online task that shows us how you approach a problem. There’s nothing to revise for.
3. Interview
A conversation with our team about your strengths, your motivation and what you want next.
4. Offer and start date
If it’s a match, we’ll confirm your place and when your cohort begins.
You don't need a technical background
Multiple choice questions, problem-solving questions and some short JavaScript exercises, with instructions at every stage. It’s there to see how you think, not to check what you already know, and we’ll tell you what to brush up on beforehand. What we’re really looking for is curiosity, problem-solving and the willingness to work hard at something unfamiliar. Those are skills people build in every industry, not just this one.
